HOW TO APPLY

To apply to the EGU / FORM-OSE Post-Graduate Training School fill the registration form to provide some basic factual information. Soon after, send to the training school email your Curriculum Vitae and a letter of interest (maximum 1 page). For the application be accepted for the evaluation stage, all the elements have to be delivered to the Organization Committee by email until 22 April 2016.

 

CANDIDATE SELECTION

The EGU / FORM-OSE Post-Graduate Training School preferably addresses to young graduated researchers on PhD process in the scientific areas related with the thematic. The maximum number of participants is 30 students.

 

Candidates will be selected based on their Curriculum Vitae and on a letter of interest.

 

The selected candidates will be contacted and more detailed information will be available until 6 May 2016.

 

All the selected candidates have to prepare a poster and a short oral presentation (5 min.) for the poster session. The posters will be displayed during the training school and discussed during coffee-breaks.

 

TRAINING SCHOOL FEE AND GRANTS

Fees for educational facilities and field trips are fixed to 150€.

 

Expenses for accommodation and food are fully covered by the hosts and sponsors.

 

The International Association on Geomorphology (IAG) will award the most valuable application with a grant of 400€ to cover the fee and travelling costs. The respective application form can be download from IAG website.
